HOW IT WORKS
Initial consultation
Together we explore your style, the purpose of the hat, and your preferences either in person or online.
Choosing the material and shape
You select the color, felt type, crown shape, brim width, curve, and the final feeling you want the hat to carry.
Hand‑shaping the hat
I shape the hat by hand on wooden blocks, layer by layer, so it fits your head perfectly.
Personalizing the details
We fine‑tune the ribbon, stitching, patina, and every detail that turns the hat into a one‑of‑a‑kind piece.
Receiving your finished hat
I hand it over to you in person or send it safely packaged, along with care instructions.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU PLACE AN ORDER
1. We confirm the design
After the consultation, I’ll summarize all details for you: material, shape, brim, color, personalization, and the estimated price.
2. I begin the hand‑shaping process
I shape the hat on wooden blocks, layer by layer. This process is the foundation of its quality and longevity.
3. Updates along the way
I’ll send you photos or short videos from the making process. It’s a beautiful part of the whole experience.
4. Final touches and details
Once the shape is complete, personalization begins - ribbon, stitching, patina. This is the moment when the hat becomes your hat.
5. Delivery
I’ll hand the finished hat over to you in person or send it safely packaged.
You’ll also receive care instructions so it lasts for years.
HOW LONG THE MAKING TAKES
Creating a personalized hat takes 2 to 4 weeks,
depending on the type of felt, the shape, and the level of personalization.
Each hat is shaped by hand using traditional techniques that require time, precision, and patience. If you request special features or extensive personalization, the timeline may extend slightly.
A hat is not made quickly. It is made conscientiously.
What I Need From You:
- Your head measurement - a simple measurement I’ll guide you through
- Your preferred style - urban, western, elegant, minimalist…
- Color and vibe - light, dark, patinated, clean, bold…
- The purpose of the hat - everyday wear, special event, a gift…
- Material preference - rabbit felt, beaver felt, or a special choice
- Personalization details - ribbon, stitching, patina, embellishments…
We’ll go through everything together during the consultation. You don’t need to have it all figured out in advance.
